Our grandkids love this. It keeps them entertained and outside!My kids love this so much !!!!My daughter and her friends loved this ninja/monkey line! After several weeks we had difficulty getting the ratchet to release when it was time to take it down. After the third time it would not release, we came close to having to cut the line when finally we got it to release. We returned it with plans to buy a new one but it is no longer available. The obstacles were perfect for our 6 year old daughter! Since then we have tried a different ninja line and the obstacles are too big for her hands (monkey bars and knots) causing her hands to hurt after 10 minutes of use. We are very disappointed SportsTrail is no longer available. Even though we had to return it due to the ratchet, I am still giving it 5 stars. The obstacles were perfect for our 6 years old.I got this for my children for Christmas. A 7 year old, a 10 year old, and a 12 year old, all adding up to about 250 lbs or so. I put it together, this was simple enough. To add the pieces that hold the swings and such it took a little time as they had to be slid in place, though this will only really have to be done and adjusted a couple times unless you plan to move things around. I was glad that I had the newer ones, without the welds, this gave me more hope originally for the set that I received.After the install using a ladder ,since the strap was bowing after they tried it out, I let them play on it. Then about two hours later, it snapped. In half. And they were on the ground.I had hoped that this would last a year or so. let’s be honest, it’s a ratchet strap, and a swing set. It didn’t seem like it would last forever. Yet this lasted less than a day. I am returning this and won’t be ordering another.I had hoped for a portable swing set. One we could take with us on trips, one that would have been available when we went camping and on trips to the lake. This is not that. For a single child, maybe. But I wouldn’t trust it again.I should have taken more heed to the bad reviews, yet I had hope that the updated one would be different. I was wrong.This was a gift for my 11 year old son who loves watching American Ninja Warrior and loves doing "parkour" with his friends. They hang off of and climb anything they can get their hands on. We have a zip line in our yard and this works perfectly between the posts for our deck and the post holding the zip line. Now they climb up to the slacker line obstacles and monkey across it to the zip line and go! It's a blast and the kids from the neighborhood are lining up for turns! It is a challenge for my 11 year old, and he loves it, not too hard, but not easy. He doesn't make it across everytime yet. And it took several trys and a few blisters to make it across the first time. My 9 year old daughter was, however, the first of the competitors to make it across successfully (much to the chagrin of the 8 or so 11 year olds here at the time challenging each other!) Even my 5 year old loves climbing on it, although it is definitely too hard for him to make it across just yet. But he's determined!The attachments that come with the line are not that great by themselves. They are pretty much the same thing but in a different shape. I purchased the round wheel and glad I did. I wish I had two sturdy trees just a little further apart to be able to add more space and variety. I would not have been able to install it alone. You definitely need someone with strength to be able to tighten the line. My 8 year old son likes playing on it, but doesn't have the upper body strength to hold himself up yet to go all the way through the course. This is where additional attachments would be helpful.Perfect for a 6 yo Ninja kid!!! He took right to it & LOVES it. I added a rope ladder, trapeze bar, & a swing for his younger sister! Perfect for us, we live in the woods!!! & way cheaper than a play set or even swing set!We like it but it isn't a quick thing to set up and we're not sure we want to leave it out overnight for neighborhood kids to play on and deer/squirrel to potentially munch on & destroy (like they did to our plastic sandbox). Our 9 year old loves to climb on things and this is challenging for her, which isn't a bad thing. If it were too easy, she might get bored with it but I think other kids might be frustrated that they can't more easily master the ball grip.Since it's not quick to set up, it hasn't gotten as much use as we had expected.
