These are not the Dixon China markers I remember from the past. Those had visible markers to gauge how much to strip back to get a new tip. These do not and make a mess of the process of getting new tips. I purchased these because they were Dixon a name brand. I paid $10 a box instead of $4 a box for China knock offs. Save your money and buy the knock offs. These a not the Dixons I remember growing up. What was even worst was the compound in these markers is not the same either. It crumbles and splits very easily under very little pressure. If these China markers are being made in China and not the USA. Buy the knock offs and save the money.I use these a lot when working on cars, primarily to mark(index) parts that need to be carefully reassembled. But they are also useful for anything you want to temporarily write or mark.Great deal they are perfectI purchase these for our production employees. They use them on the Aluminum Exterior adn Extrusions of our trailers. Dixon is the best quality China Marker out there. I was purchasing a cheaper Chinese brand (ironic) and the quality was inferior to Dixon, so I switched back to Dixon. I was going to use them to outline for microshaded brows but I tested on my hand and it didn’t even write.Don’t buy these.I use these on dark coloured ceramic tiles to mark measurements before cutting them on my wet saw.They won't wash off with the water like a pencil or a marker.Easy to rub off the tiles when you need to.I buy these all the time.I use the black ones on light coloured tiles.Some markers are easier to peel and others impossible. It makes for quite expensive 'crayons' when you use only half the box.
