My girls (7 and 5) love the DVD. It is better obviously if they can read though. Their friends come around and love it too (all the girls anyway up to senior school!). You can choose to have purely instrumental (I find that difficult and so do the children) so we always use it on the singalong mode so you can tune in to the singer. There are no moving picutres on the DVD just the words coming up but I think that helps as mine would just watch it then and not join in.
