This scooter was perfect! My 6 & 7 year old boys loved them. Just enough speed that will last them a couple of years. The knee & elbow pads were a nice extra!I have two kids and my older one has an electric scooter to ride around on. The hard thing for my younger son is that the handles are a little too high and the throttle is a little too sensitive. I was looking for something that would be smaller and good as a starter scooter to get comfortable for when he is grown into the bigger one.This scooter came in a relatively small box and was in good condition with no damage in shipping. The assembly was super easy and it came with the allen wrenches needed to assemble. All of the electronic components are in the base of the scooter so there is no need to run wires through the handle and no need to plug anything in.The way that the scooter works is a button is pressed down on the deck of the scooter and it seems like the harder you press, the faster the scooter goes. The wheels on this are wider than a standard scooter which makes it super nice for balance, it almost stands up on its own.As a beginner scooter for this price it is definitely worth it for younger children. This has proven to be easy to use and helps with coordination and building confidence when riding. The battery life is good for what we need and my son is having a lot of fun with it!5 starsMy son loves itThis has been a great scooter so far and our granddaughter loves it.
