This was the second of these I purchased for sidewalk display of daily specials at my brewery. The first (3 years old) is still going strong but we added a second for multiple messages.I was bummed that after 1 week the top wood piece split. I was really hoping that for the money this would last for a long time. If you want a sturdy sign, save you money!!!The sign looks great, is easy to assemble, and works perfectly! It also holds up well in the rain. My only feedback is it needs some ‘fixes’ before being in moderate (or more) wind. I had to reattach the hook after it pulled out during a wind gust, but it was an easy fix with wood glue. Weights are needed to stabilize in heavy wind and an extra hook/loop near the bottom to stop the swinging is helpful too. Nothing major - I would buy this again!Used this with the suggested Arteza chalk markers. Vibrant colors, and looks nice. I bought this chalkboard for the stable looking base, as I am using it in a high-wind area (an a-frame would just fall over). It held up all day at a farmer's market with no issues. Happy with this and hope to use it for many future events.Love the look of the board but side piece arrived with a crack in the wood. I lived with that. But then after less than 50 days, the top cracked from the wind and there’s no way to contact the seller to talk about it. This was disappointing because I paid this high amount of money for durability.I Love It!I like the fact that I can remove the sign to and take to a location that makes it easy to write on.Not disappointed with the product at all, however one wind storm and the swinging sign caught enough momentum to fall over.The only damage was the split wood where the eye screw ripped out when it tipped over.We moved the holes towards the center, added an additional eye hook and screw at the bottom to keep it from swinging, and moved the rubber feet out to the end of the stand legs for additional stability. Will try to add weight before fall to prevent any more damage.Nice looking, but flimsy. product was damaged when arrived and broke within the first week of use ( the top of the frame split in two ! ). had to mend it, glue it back together and I will have to get a new frame made for the chalk board if i want it to last more than one week. good concept, attractive but low quality.Great product overall, but it was very expensive to receive wooden supports with deep cracks. The product will need new supports after it's second use.exactly as described
